VOLUNTEER/PARTNER OPTIONS FOR PROJECT REFUGE: 1.) IF YOU LIVE IN CORONA , CA AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, YOU MAY OPT TO BE THE BACKBONE OF PROJECT REFUGE AS A RECEPTIONIST, FOLLOW-UP STAFF, ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF, FUNDRAISERS, EVENTS and OUTREACH STAFF, IN-HOUSE TELEPHONE EVANGELISTS/COUNSELORS, ETC We would more than welcome you. The training is "hands-on. It is training is as you go along. Our standard requirement we have is that you must be 18 years old, affiliated with a church, no cirminal background and can get at least three references not related to you. Our in-house office hrs is from 8;00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. only. 2.) OUTSIDE CORONA AND ITS SURROUNDING AREA, ONLY CHURCHES/MINISTRUES MAY OPT TO BE PHONE COUNSELORS RIGHT WHERE THEY ARE. HOWEVER, AS AN INDIVIDUAL YOU CAN BE A CHAT EVANGELIST. Through our phone system, we can forward all the callers to any churches/ ministries regardless of location (applies to US only) . However.we also have a form where callers can be called back. This will not limit taking calls via the in-house volunteers. With this approach , it will allow us to involve more volunteers in more locations than previously before. All your trainings will be available on-line. 3.) VOLUNTEERS OUTSIDE THE US WILL BE USED AFTER OUR HRS. OF OPERATION HERE. HOWEVER, THEY WILL BE WELL-SCREENED AND THROUGH RECOMMENDATION ONLY. The technology of internet phones will be used in order to minimize costs of phone calls. Training will be available on-line via secure website.
